On Wednesday I woke up at 5 AM to go to the airport to see Andres, Julie and the dogs in Portland. When we arrived, we went to Bed Bath & Beyond store to buy my bed for the stay. It was hot. We went to Multnomah Village to shop and then we went out to eat at a German Restaurant.

 

On Thursday, we went to Dundee, Oregon in the wine country. Look at the pictures below to check the cool views. The we had lunch at Mcminnville, Oregon in the roof top of a restored old hotel. Then we went to the Pacific Ocean. We ate dinner at home that night.

 

Friday the 11th, we went downtown by the water front for shopping and we ate lunch by the water in a floating restaurant. The whole restaurant moved when boats went by. Check the third picture below. We went to Powell’s Books for some more shopping. Julie found a really good book for Andres written by Jonathon’s dad, Archer Mayor. That night, I had original Japanese food including sushi, miso soup, seaweed salad, and tempura.

 

On Saturday the 12th, we went out for breakfast. I called my grandmother on the phone because it was her birthday. Then, we walked around the Portland Saturday Market. I got a purple straw hat that Julie picked out for me. It was a beautiful day, but it got better when we went to Grand Central Bowl. It was excellent. I loved it. There was music and we had some food. Look at the last pictures on the set below.
